Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group seeks a Revenue Integrity Coding Educator to advance accurate, compliant, and optimized coding across specialties by auditing documentation and educating providers and staff. This fully remote role involves translating CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS requirements into practical training materials, identifying denial trends, and partnering with Revenue Cycle leaders to drive improvements.

Qualifications

5 years Experience in medical insurance reimbursement, medical billing, and coding related to charge review and work RVU’s.
Experienced in reviewing patient account information, insurance explanation of benefits, computer screens, and financial records.

Responsibilities

Audit medical record documentation and coded services to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Translate CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, payer, and regulatory requirements into practical education for providers, coders, and operational teams.
Develop and deliver training materials and coaching to improve coding quality and reimbursement accuracy.
Identify documentation, charge-capture, denial, and workflow trends and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
Partner with clinical and Revenue Cycle leaders to implement corrective actions and monitor outcomes for sustained improvement.
