Job summary

NEPSE Trading seeks a remote Medical Coding Auditor to evaluate ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding for hospital and clinic encounters. You will perform complex analyses, prepare client reports, and deliver coding education content.

The role requires AHIMA or AAPC credential and 5+ years of coding/auditing experience in acute care or similar settings. Remote position with flexible schedule, strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent client communication are essential to succeed in

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC credential is required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of coding and/or auditing experience in acute care settings.
• Experience with ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding and denials analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex, concurrent and retrospective analyses of medical records to validate coding accuracy.
• Prepare summary reports with references supporting audit findings for clients.
• Provide second-level QA of audit results prior to final submission.
• Develop and deliver educational content related to auditing and coding to clients.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate findings professionally.
