Sprinter Health seeks a Coding Manager to lead its remote coding team, overseeing coders and auditors for accurate, compliant, and timely coding across in-home and telehealth services.

You will own coding operations, quality, and audit programs, partnering with clinical, revenue cycle, and compliance stakeholders to build a learning-focused function that supports clean claims and risk adjustment.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active AAPC (e.g., CPC, COC) or AHIMA (CCS-P, CCS).
• Minimum 5 years of professional coding experience, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role.
• Strong understanding of pro-fee coding, preventive/primary care, diagnostics, and telehealth.
• Deep knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and payer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a remote team of coders and auditors with clear expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day coding operations, queues, workload balancing, and turnaround times.
• Serve as escalation point for coding questions, audits, and denial trends.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CMS guidelines.
• Develop and socialize coding policies, playbooks, and training materials.
• Design and own a comprehensive coding education program with onboarding and milestones.
• Deliver ongoing training on guideline updates and payer changes.
• Create and maintain a centralized library of training materials.
