Job summary
Tegria is seeking a Manager, Coding to lead a team delivering outsourced coding services for healthcare facilities. You will ensure accurate coding of medical records, strict adherence to ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
You will supervise performance, provide coaching, and drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and reimbursement. A supervisory background and coding certifications are required, with remote-friendly, national scope for project work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
- CPC/CCA/CCS/CIC or COC certification.
- Prior supervisory experience in a coding/healthcare setting.
- Experience with EMR systems and billing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team delivering outsourced coding services.
- Ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records.
- Maintain compliance with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and billing teams on coding inquiries.
- Perform performance appraisals and development planning.
- Drive process improvements to optimize coding workflows and reimbursement.
