Sprinter Health is hiring a Medical Coder to review and abstract professional medical records, ensuring accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT coding in a remote, full-time capacity through Jan 31, 2027. You will query documentation, maintain quality metrics, and stay current with CPT/ICD-10 rules.

The role requires active certification (AAPC or AHIMA), 3+ years Pro-Fee coding, strong risk adjustment knowledge, and independence to work remotely with secure practices.

Qualifikationen

• Active AAPC (CPC/COC) or AHIMA (CCS-P/CCS) certification.
• Minimum 3 years of Pro-Fee coding experience.
• Strong understanding of risk adjustment codes (HCC).
• Excellent grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology.

• Review and abstract professional medical records for coding.
• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers per guidelines.
• Query providers for clarification when needed to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain coding quality metrics (accuracy, productivity, compliance).
