Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is seeking an education-focused professional to support providers and coders in accurate coding and billing. You will onboard new providers, train coders, and develop curriculum across specialties, with regular audits to ensure coding accuracy.

Remote work is available for Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota residents. Requirements include CPC/CCS-P certification, 5+ years of healthcare coding experience, strong communication, and the ability to develop practice-wide

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to train others.
• Proven ability in education and training within healthcare coding.
• Ability to think critically and independently research issues as they arise.
• Five plus years of health care experience with CPT and ICD-10 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education to providers, coders and others as needed.
• Identify and recommend systems and tools to support coding and billing.
• Onboard new providers and train coders in their specialties.
• Research coding questions and communicate findings to leadership.
