Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is seeking an education-focused professional to support providers and coders in accurate coding and billing. You will onboard new providers, train coders, and develop curriculum across specialties, with regular audits to ensure coding accuracy.

Remote work is available for Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota residents. Requirements include CPC/CCS-P certification, 5+ years of healthcare coding experience, strong communication, and the ability to develop practice-wide

Remote work is available for candidates in Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota, only.The purpose of this position is to provide ongoing education to providers, coders and others. To identify and recommend systems and tools to encourage and support providers in effective coding and billing. Onboarding new providers and helping to train new coders to the most recent and up to date coding guidelines in their respective specialties. Monitor coding and documentation for each provider through yearly audits. Monitor coding accuracy through audits performed twice a year. Regularly meet with and communicate findings to providers and coders. Develop practice-wide coding guidelines, and develop curriculum for training providers, staff and other constituents.
