Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding for Inpatient Medicine.
• Understanding of inpatient coding guidelines and payor rules.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Design and update coding curricula for learners at different levels.
• Deliver instruction in-person or virtually using various platforms.
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback.
• Analyze and report data to improve instructional quality.
• Develop and present external training materials to engage external programs.
• Create and maintain coding resources (SOPs, site pages).
• Collaborate with RCM teams to ensure proper coding processes.
• Provide educational consultations for internal Coding Department staff.
