Job summary

Jobrapido seeks a Medical Coding and Education Specialist to enhance coding accuracy and compliance across post-acute care facilities. You will review medical records and assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes while developing training materials.

Collaborate with technology and revenue cycle teams to optimize EMR processes, reduce denials, and improve documentation workflows. Remote position with preference for Texas; candidate should have 5+ years of post-acute coding experience and CCS or CPC

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of post-acute care medical coding experience.
• CCS or CPC certification required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular coding audits and reviews for compliance and reimbursement policies.
• Develop and deliver educational materials and training modules on coding guidelines and documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and operations to clarify documentation and coding issues.
• Work with the technology team to optimize EMR processes and reduce denials.
• Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and coding guidelines.
• Review medical records to assign precise codes using ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
