Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Coding Educator to lead the coding education program across TriHealth physicians and coding staff. You will guide documentation accuracy, compliance, and charge capture while supporting system-wide ICD‑10 implementation and HCC education initiatives.

Under the Coding Manager, you will provide initial and ongoing education, feedback, and testing support to maintain correct coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of professional healthcare coding experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of coding and/or auditing experience.
• Certifications CPC, COC, CMC, CCS-P, CCS, RHIA, RHIT are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct coding education programs for coding specialists and physicians.
• Support ICD‑10 readiness efforts and HCC education initiatives.
• Provide ongoing education, training, and technical support on documentation guidelines and coding principles.
• Coordinate educational opportunities for direct-care providers regarding medical and legal coding requirements.
