CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Coding Auditor and Educator for Professional Fee to support the coding team across our network. You will apply ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, HCPCS classifications and lead audits and education to improve accuracy and compliance.

You will onboard and train staff, develop ongoing educational programs, monitor regulatory changes, and partner with leadership on short- and long-term strategic planning to maintain excellence in compliant coding and billing practices.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Two years PB coder audits, education, and training
• Five years of experience coding professional fee records
• CPC/CCS/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA certifications accepted
• Epic experience
• Knowledge of professional fee coding rules and guidelines
• Understand Medicare billing rules
• NCCI, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers
• Medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Strong organizational, planning, scheduling and project management abilities
• Excellent analytical ability to develop and analyze data to recommend solutions

Mansioni

• Maintain mastery of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and regulatory guidelines as SME for complex billing inquiries
• Conduct system audits and identify documentation gaps
• Lead onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing education on Risk Adjustment and MEAT criteria
• Develop and deploy training programs for evolving health plan requirements
• Build relationships with coding teams to standardize practices and improve cross-department communication
• Present educational findings and drive improvements in coding compliance
