Job summary

CommonSpirit is seeking a Coding Auditor and Educator Professional Fee to strengthen our professional fee coding team. Use ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, CPT-4 to ensure accurate coding and compliance across the organization.

In this role you will conduct internal audits, provide education to staff, monitor regulatory changes, and coordinate onboarding and ongoing training. You will collaborate with leadership on strategic planning to maintain coding excellence.

Qualifications

• Two years of PB coder audits, education, and training experience.
• Five years of experience coding professional fee records.
• Knowledge of professional fee coding rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits of professional fee coding and provide follow-up education.
• Onboard and train new staff on coding practices.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates in PB coding teams.
• Lead education programs on Risk Adjustment, HCCs, and MEAT criteria.
• Develop training to keep coding teams current with health plan requirements.
