Job summary

You will code, test, and research existing processes to meet projected timelines, collaborating with PMs, SMEs, and multimedia specialists to ensure quality and security while delivering through defined milestones.

Qualifications

Clearance requirement: USPS Public Trust eligibility
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs
Determines the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time
Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures
Develops, analyzes, prioritizes, and organizes requirements specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
Translates highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
Develops and documents features and user stories with acceptance criteria
Assists team with preparation of cost estimates
Implements best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
Creates current and future state documentation related to existing interfaces
Creates Interface Control Documents (ICD) documenting existing and future interfaces
