Job summary

Humana seeks a Configuration Management Analyst to govern the CMDB, ensuring accurate tracking of assets, changes, and compliance across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will collaborate with IT and security teams to reduce risk and support reliable operations.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in configuration management, plus ServiceNow or ITSM experience. It is remote with occasional office travel; 40 hours weekly; pay range is listed below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
• 2+ years of IT configuration management experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• 2+ years of ServiceNow or ITSM experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Humana’s CMDB and related assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Develop and implement configuration management processes to ensure accurate tracking of IT assets and components.
• Perform audits and reconcile configuration items for discrepancies or compliance gaps.
• Contribute to incident and problem management by providing accurate configuration data.
• Document CM procedures, standards, and control narratives.
• Collaborate with project and operations teams to support delivery.
• Generate CM reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership.
• Assist with troubleshooting configuration discrepancies with relevant teams.
• Deliver training on configuration management best practices, risk, and security.
• Maintain accurate relationships between assets, configurations, and dependencies.
• Suggest enhancements to CM tools, processes, and documentation.
