Job summary

Humana seeks a Configuration Management Analyst to govern and maintain Humana’s CMDB, ensuring accurate tracking of IT assets, changes, and compliance across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role emphasizes data integrity, incident support, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

You will contribute to audits, reporting, and process improvements while leveraging ServiceNow and ITSM best practices in a remote-capable capacity within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of IT configuration management experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Humana’s CMDB and related assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Develop and enforce configuration management processes and procedures.
• Perform audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and compliance gaps.
• Provide accurate configuration data for incident, problem, and root-cause analysis.
• Document configuration management procedures, standards, naming/versioning baselines.
• Collaborate with project and operations teams to align data with business needs.
• Generate and distribute CMDB reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership.
• Troubleshoot configuration discrepancies with relevant teams.
• Contribute to training and awareness initiatives on configuration management best practices.
• Maintain accurate relationships between IT assets, configurations, and dependencies.
• Support continuous improvement of CMDB tools and documentation.
