Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Cloud Professional Services Manager to lead a field engineering team delivering open source cloud solutions across public clouds and on-premises. You will guide technical presales, design workloads, and drive team delivery from a remote home-based location within your time zone.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with customers and partners, and help expand our open source offerings across industries such as telco, finance, healthcare and media.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (Kubernetes, Openstack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph)
• Practical Linux and networking knowledge
• Experience in technical presales
• Dynamic, able to jump into new projects and interact with people
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
• Track record of developing and growing people
• Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring engineers
• Organised and able to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Strong academic background from high school and university
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for events, meetings and customer engagements

• Lead and develop a team of engineers across graduate to senior levels
• Work remotely within a single major time zone
• Coach, mentor and provide career development feedback
• Identify and measure team health indicators
• Implement disciplined engineering processes
• Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners and customers
