Ensemble Health Partners seeks a Manager, Software Engineering to lead the VUR/UM engineering team, driving cloud-based product development and cost efficiencies. You will guide ~8 engineers and align roadmaps with Product Management, delivering value through modern software engineering practices.

The ideal candidate balances business outcomes with engineering excellence, challenges legacy processes, and promotes innovation across the organization, including a remote US workforce.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years as a software engineer.
• 3-5 years of experience leading a team of engineers.
• 5+ years with modern tech stacks, with Microsoft technology emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers with accountability and collaboration.
• Partner with Product Management to define roadmaps and deliver incremental value.
• Guide system design and technical decisions for scalable cloud apps and services.
• Oversee delivery of software with emphasis on quality, reliability, security, and business alignment.
• Drive adoption of agile methods, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and DevOps.
• Identify opportunities to improve architecture, infrastructure, and development processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to challenge processes and drive innovative solutions.
