Job summary

HealthEquity is seeking a Sr Manager Software Engineering to lead mobile and web teams across multiple domains in the full software lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring. This remote role requires strong leadership and a proven track record delivering enterprise-grade software.

You will own architecture discussions, drive key metrics, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product management, agile centers of excellence, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, and/or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years managing multiple teams or larger, complex teams.
• Experience with enterprise level platforms and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead personnel actions for direct reports including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Own development and sustainment of team's applications and tech infrastructure.
• Develop and monitor metrics for health and performance of software.
• Drive agile process to maximize value for stakeholders.
• Partner with executive leadership and departments to influence strategy.
• Maintain technical proficiency and engage with professional communities.
• Other duties as assigned.
