This role requires driving strategic technology choices, overseeing SDLC processes, and collaborating across Product, Data, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure high availability and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years leading projects or directing teams.
• 7+ years using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka to build/deploy applications on cloud platforms.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization without direct authority.
• 3+ years defining technology strategy and adopting AI/ML, cloud services, automation with measurable impact.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, microservices and modern practices.

Responsibilities

• Own risk mitigation and production stability by identifying vulnerabilities and driving timely resolution.
• Oversee the full SDLC, ensuring secure coding practices and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Infrastructure, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and lead innovation through proof-of-concepts.
• Build and develop high-performing teams through hiring, performance reviews, and knowledge sharing.
