Job summary

EverCommerce’s EverHealth team seeks a Software Engineer to develop new features for the EverHealth platform, enhancing care delivery for medical practices. You will work on scalable, API‑driven services, and collaborate across domains to maintain and improve existing experiences while enabling growth for customers.

The role involves agile practices, code reviews, and expanding automated tests, with opportunities for remote work within the US/Canada and occasional travel to HQ if needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and ORM (Entity Framework).
• Experience with JavaScript SPA frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Experience with SQL Server and T‑SQL, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• CI/CD with Git, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
• OpenSearch or related search/cache tech.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/JIRA).
• OOP principles and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to design, develop, and deliver sophisticated software solutions.
• Design, implement scalable, resilient applications to solve complex business problems.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain high‑quality software throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while supporting team problem‑solving efforts.
• Conduct code reviews and review pull requests to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Expand and maintain automated unit test coverage to ensure software reliability.
