Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to act as a customer-facing cloud security expert. You will assess security needs, architect solutions, and help deliver new security services offerings for SHI's clients.

This remote role may report to the Austin, TX office for business needs and works with sales teams to educate on cybersecurity solutions and drive customer success.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
• 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role
• 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting
• Advanced certification in CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security or related certifications are preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and engagements
• Extended hours may be required for special projects

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs/CSOs/ CISOs and security engineers to strengthen client relationships
• Understand SHI’s service offerings across solution practice areas
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling through trainings and 1x1 sessions
• Stay current on new technologies, trends, and market dynamics
• Develop collateral and use cases in SHI labs to support sales engagements
• Scope and assist in SOW creation for professional services aligned to recommended products
