Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Engineer - Enterprise to assess customer data center environments and design tailored infrastructure solutions across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, and Services spaces.

This remote role resides in the Salt Lake City, UT area to support SHI's business needs; travel to events may be required. You will train sales teams, manage the solution pipeline, and engage with CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs to drive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex Data Center sales opportunities.
• Ability to design infrastructure including hybrid cloud, SDDC, IaaS, automation, containerization.
• Strong virtualization and hypervisor knowledge.
• Ability to sell and explain complex technical products to customers.
• Expertise with Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, Nutanix.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligning with business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs and partners, stay updated on products.
• Provide product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
• Act as trusted IT advisor for customers, partnering with Field Account Executives.
• Develop strategies to pursue top prospects and acquire new business.
• Identify technology opportunities in Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, and Services.
• Develop solutions that fit customer needs and budgets.
