Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant for cloud native security to define technical solutions that secure a customer’s business imperatives. You will evangelize industry-leading cloud security solutions and act as the customer’s cybersecurity partner of choice.

You will collaborate with account teams to craft solutions, present to diverse audiences, and lead PoV projects driving technical wins while aligning with customer requirements and differentiation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical sales or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience using IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM, GCP Deployment Manager) and CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Experience with Alicloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud security configurations (IAM, networking, firewalls, encryption).
• Deep experience in cloud security areas such as Shift Left, CSPM, CWP, KSPM, CIEM, DSPM, and AI-SPM.
• Understanding of container/orchestration tech such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Travel may be required for in-person meetings; discuss specifics with recruiter.
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to develop customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels, from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Serve as the main technical contact for Cloud Security for RFIs/RFPs.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations to showcase our value proposition.
• Scope and lead PoV projects to drive technical wins in opportunities.
• Drive high validation and PoV win rates in your area.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customers' security posture.
• Accelerate technical validation of proposed solutions within your specialization.
• Document High-Level Design and key use cases for value realization of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Help customers build and develop services around Prisma Cloud.
• Lead conversations on industry trends and emerging security landscape changes.
• Position Palo Alto Networks or partner services to ensure proper implementation and value realization.
• Initiate projects to improve team performance; implement organizational policies & help adoption.
• Act as a conduit for customer feedback to Product Management, Tech Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D
