Job summary

Palo Alto Networks seeks a Domain Consultant for cloud native security to define technical solutions that secure a customer’s key business imperatives. You evangelize our cloud security solutions, establishing Palo Alto Networks as a cybersecurity partner of choice.

You will collaborate with account teams, present to customers at all levels, and respond to RFIs/RFPs. Lead PoV projects, drive technical validation, and align solutions with customer requirements and differentiation to accelerate

Qualifications

6+ years technical sales or equivalent experience highly preferred.
Hands-on experience using IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Deployment Manager, etc.) and CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud configuration and administration of security features and services (IAM, networking, firewalls, encryption).
Deep experience in cloud security areas such as CSPM, CIEM, DSPM; background in security or cloud security highly preferred.
Understanding of container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
This is a field sales position with travel requirements; discuss specifics with recruiter.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization area.
Present to customers as our expert at all levels from practitioner to senior leadership.
Serve as the main technical contact for Cloud Security to respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs.
Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value proposition.
Scope and lead PoV projects to ensure technical win in opportunities.
Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates within your specialization area.
Highlight product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
Architect solutions to strengthen customer security posture.
Accelerate technical validation of proposed solutions.
Document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases for proper implementation and value realization.
Help customers develop services around Prisma Cloud.
Lead discussions on industry trends and emerging security changes.
Position Palo Alto Networks services as the best implementation path.
Initiate projects to improve team performance and adopt organizational policies.
