You will lead cross-team architectural changes to enhance scalability, reliability, and deployment efficiency, while guiding best practices and secure design patterns. The role supports remote work from anywhere in the United States, with a strong focus on distributed backend services, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and high-performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus FIVE (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
• Alternatively, employer will accept no degree and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable solutions to integrate Noname Security products into the Akamai ecosystem.
• Lead architecture changes to improve scalability, reliability, and deployment efficiency.
• Oversee integration components for interoperability with Akamai infrastructure.
• Guide design patterns and align stakeholders on long-term platform strategies.
• Define development guidelines and best practices across engineering teams.
