The role focuses on turning compliance guidelines into actionable requirements and guiding internal teams and external assessors to meet security obligations. You will own technical aspects of integration, coordinate with sales, project managers, and engineering, and work to mitigate risks while helping customers achieve their security objectives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
• Completed coursework, internship, thesis, or research project involving network traffic monitoring and analysis; DDoS detection; TCP/IP suite; ACLs configuration; security incident monitoring; log analysis; threat detection; network security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Translate compliance guidelines into business requirements, technical specifications, and security frameworks for internal teams and external assessors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand Akamai web-scale systems and guide the company to meet security obligations.
• Take ownership for technical aspects of integration and supporting steps to go live, identifying and mitigating risks.
