Job summary

Akamai Technologies GmbH is seeking a Security Architect to join our Product Security team and help strengthen the security of Akamai's products by partnering with development teams to embed secure design practices across our cloud and edge platforms.

You will work on security reviews, incident response, AI integration, and guidance to drive secure development, with opportunities to influence security and compliance outcomes across a global, distributed platform.

Qualifications

• Performing security-focused design reviews of applications, systems and networks across a wide range of products, including security, CDN and cloud computing.
• Partnering with development and infrastructure teams across the organization to assist with remediation of identified issues.
• Working collaboratively with product development teams on secure design and development choices.
• Providing guidance and answering questions about security practices.
• Serving as a subject matter expert during incidents and remediation projects.
• Identifying the appropriate tools and processes for ensuring that products are meeting security and compliance requirements.
• Integrating responsible use of AI into your workflow and ensuring that the company's use both internally and its products, are secured.
