Job summary

Edmentum is a remote‑first company delivering tech‑enabled learning solutions for educators and students. The Systems Administrator II will manage cloud infrastructure, identity services, and productivity platforms in a secure, reliable environment.

You will handle AWS/GCP administration, Entra ID/Azure AD, and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace support, while contributing to security, compliance, and on‑call rotations. Strong fundamentals with willingness to grow are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud services and production environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory (Group Policy), and hybrid identity synchronization.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (user admin, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online) and Google Workspace administration.
• Familiar with SSO, MFA, Enterprise Application management, and third-party identity integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint is a plus.
• Experience with SOC2 and vulnerability management concepts and related platforms.
• Comfort with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python) and reducing manual work.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Edmentum’s cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP with storage, rightsizing, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Manage identity across Entra ID and AWS, including SSO, MFA, Enterprise Applications, and third‑party provisioning.
• Administer Active Directory (Group Policy) and support Azure hybrid identity synchronization.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace; support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online.
• Manage devices with Microsoft Intune and support Defender for Endpoint.
• Serve as escalation point and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Support SOC2 compliance, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring with Security teams.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Support on endpoints intersecting security/compliance; look for automation opportunities.
