Job summary

Frontier Nursing University is seeking a Systems and Network Administrator to maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, identity systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with on‑premises servers. Remote/hybrid telecommuting is possible after 30 days, with Versailles, KY campus as a primary work location.

The role reports to the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager and involves supporting security tooling, documentation, and mentorship of Service Desk staff.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of enterprise IT support or systems administration experience.
• Hands-on admin of Microsoft 365 or comparable cloud services.
• Ability to own a system, service, or project beyond routine tickets.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 environment: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune.
• Manage Entra ID/AD accounts: lifecycle, authentication, access control.
• Administer cloud resources in AWS and Azure, including compute and storage.
• Support Windows Server, virtualization, backup, and recovery.
• Assist with campus network administration and liaise with MSP.
• Contribute to information security program and tooling.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell and Graph API.
• Escalate complex issues to Enterprise Infrastructure Manager.
• Participate in infrastructure projects and migrations.
