Job summary

Electric Power Engineers seeks a System Administrator II to serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for administration, security, reliability, and modernization of infrastructure, cloud platforms, and identity services. You will lead complex initiatives, mentor staff, and drive automation across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, cloud administration, or enterprise IT operations.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and endpoint management technologies.
• Experience administering Windows Server, virtualization, cloud services, and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, identity management, disaster recovery, and operational best practices.
• Proven ability to independently lead technical projects and drive successful outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize enterprise infrastructure including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, server platforms, virtualization environments, endpoint management systems, and cloud services.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure, identity, networking, security, and application issues.
• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, lifecycle management activities, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Evaluate infrastructure performance, capacity, resiliency, and operational risks and propose improvements.
• Develop and maintain standards, configurations, and operational processes for reliability and scalability.
• Lead technical assessments for acquisitions, office expansions, and deployments, coordinating stakeholders and vendors.
• Design and implement automation, scripting, and process improvements to increase efficiency and maturity.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents and major changes; mentor junior staff.
