Job summary

Zippy seeks a Closing Operations Specialist – Broker to coordinate broker channel closings, serve as central contact for brokers and settlement agents, and ensure smooth, accurate final figures and documents for timely closings. You will guide borrowers through closing documents and support remote online notarization.

Ideal candidates balance closing process ownership with strong communication, meticulous detail, and a customer‑centric mindset in a remote‑first, nationwide team.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of loan closing experience in the housing market; manufactured housing experience is appreciated.
• Experience supporting mortgage brokers or wholesale lending transactions and coordinating with title companies, escrow officers or settlement agents.
• Ability to review and balance final loan documents and settlement statements, identify discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, courteous and responsive approach to broker and settlement partner relationships.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that evolves as Zippy’s technology and business scale.
• Quality-focused, highly attentive to detail and process-oriented.
• Flexible work schedule, including after hours and weekends as needed, to meet closing needs.
• Proactive and autonomous, with the ability to manage multiple closings and competing priorities.
• Collaborative and innovative, with a strong desire for the entire team to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Broker and Settlement Agent Support: central point of contact to resolve bottlenecks and keep closings moving forward.
• Coordinate Final Figures: balance documents; identify discrepancies and ensure accurate final figures.
• Broker Relations: communicate status updates and follow through on next steps with brokers.
• Customer Experience: guide borrowers through closing documents and facilitate remote notarization.
• Document Review: learn Zippy’s loan products and perform QA on closing documents.
• Process Ownership: resolve issues and track outstanding items for post-close prep.
