Job summary

Zippy is hiring a Closing Operations Specialist – Broker to coordinate and execute closings for our broker channel. You will act as the main contact for brokers, settlement agents, and internal teams, ensuring accurate final figures and smooth closings.

You will guide borrowers through closing documents, enable remote online notarization, and maintain a positive final experience. Experience with loans, brokers, and title companies is essential; a fast-paced, remote-first environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in loan closing in housing; manufactured housing a plus.
• Experience coordinating with mortgage brokers, title companies, and settlement agents.
• Ability to review and balance final loan documents and settlement statements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with broker relationships.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Broker and Settlement Agent Support: serve as central contact to resolve bottlenecks and keep closings moving.
• Coordinate Final Figures: balance documents, identify discrepancies, ensure accuracy.
• Broker Relations: provide status updates and guidance to brokers.
• Customer Experience: guide borrowers through closing docs and enable remote notarization.
• Document Review: QA closing docs, coordinate corrections with internal teams.
• Process Ownership: proactively resolve issues and manage post-close tasks.
