Qualifications

• Four years of related work experience, or two years with an Associate degree.
• Experience in high-volume medical reception or call center is preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems and patient info management.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and professional telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume calls, assess urgency, and direct to appropriate staff.
• Assist patients with forms, scheduling, and insurance information.
• Build and modify provider schedules and clinic calendars.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate tests, and manage changes or cancellations.
• Greet patients/visitors, verify records and insurance, and manage referrals.
• Book surgeries and coordinate pre/post operative steps and paperwork.
• Maintain filing systems and coordinate interdepartmental communication.
