Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure high-quality case reports in line with client contracts, regulatory standards, and state mandates. The role supports the Quality Assurance Department and handles QA questions, ensuring evidence-based rationales and proper documentation.

The position requires RN or LPN licensure, healthcare quality experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate with peer reviewers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must be RN or LPN with license.
• Healthcare quality, compliance, or utilization review experience is beneficial.
• Experience working with peer reviewers or clinical consultants in quality assurance.
• Familiarity with ERISA and state regulatory mandates related to clinical reviews and documentation.
• Strong communication to interact with reviewers and stakeholders.
• Contract-to-hire arrangement with potential for long-term engagement.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports, correspondences, addendums or supplemental reviews.
• Provide clear, evidence-based rationales for recommendations and determinations.
• Ensure client instructions and specifications are followed and questions addressed.
• Support with clinical citations and current references from reputable journals.
• Ensure reports are high quality and compliant with standards.
• Ensure board specialty reviewed cases per client specs or state mandates.
• Identify inconsistencies and obtain clarification from the Peer Reviewer.
