Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a remote Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative to support Pharmacists and patients and report to a Clinical Programs supervisor.

You will engage in programs to improve health outcomes, with a focus on medications and therapy management, and help drive comprehensive medication reviews. The role requires a state pharmacy technician license or national certification, knowledge of insurance processing, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Applied knowledge of insurance processing, customer service or call center processes
• Must have a designated work area with a door that locks

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and take inbound calls communicating with Humana members
• Collect medication history information
• Prepare members for a comprehensive medication review
• Help guide prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications
• Help create health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns
• Assist Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provide counseling
