Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Consultative Pharmacy Technician who serves as the initial point of contact for patients, pharmacies, and providers.

You will perform moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support duties, including calculations, while working under semi-routine assignments and reporting to the Market President. You will triage calls with a pharmacist, support medication research, and offer medication therapy management programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician license.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate data entry and multitasking across computer applications.
• A proactive, customer-service oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for patient, pharmacy, and provider calls.
• Coordinate medication research and triage questions with a pharmacist.
• Offer medication therapy management programs and schedule reviews.
• Work under established policies to meet performance standards.
