Job summary

Humana seeks a Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative to support Pharmacists and patients in a remote capacity. You will contribute to programs that improve health outcomes, focusing on prescription drugs and medication therapy, and assist with comprehensive medication reviews.

You will perform semi-routine administrative tasks, participate in outbound and inbound calls, collect medication histories, and support pharmacists in drug optimization and patient education.

Qualifications

• Must have Pharmacy Technician license or national certification.
• Experience in insurance processing, customer service or call center processes.
• Must have a designated work area with a door that locks.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and take inbound calls communicating with Humana members.
• Collect medication history information.
• Prepare members for a comprehensive medication review.
• Help guide prescription drug optimization for patients on multiple medications.
• Help create health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns.
• Assist Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provide counseling.
