Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a remote Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative to support Pharmacists and patients, reporting to a Clinical Programs supervisor.

The role focuses on programs to improve health outcomes and medication therapy, including comprehensive medication reviews. The position requires a Pharmacy Technician License or national certification, insurance processing knowledge, and a dedicated, lockable work space.

Qualifications

• Resident State Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Applied knowledge of insurance processing, customer service or call center processes
• Must have a designated work area with a door that locks

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and take inbound calls communicating with Humana members
• Collect medication history information
• Prepare members for a comprehensive medication review
• Help guide prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications
• Help create health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns
• Assist Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provide counseling
