Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior RX Clinical Programs Pharmacist to integrate programs that improve health outcomes with a focus on prescription drugs.

You will oversee therapy and strategy for comprehensive reviews and drive campaigns and education for patients, while working with teams to influence departmental direction. You will analyze complex data, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• Active pharmacist license in the state(s) where you practice.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on schedule.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to achieve goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Passion for improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication therapy, pharmacotherapy reviews, and optimization.
• Drive Rx education and quarterly campaigns with patients.
• Make decisions on moderately to complex project components with latitude.
• Collaborate with teams to influence department strategy and outcomes.
• Place outbound calls to confirm adherence and counsel patients.
