Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Senior RX Clinical Programs Pharmacist to integrate programs improving health outcomes around prescription drugs. The role handles moderately to complex issues, overseeing therapy and reviews, while driving drug optimization for patients on multiple meds.

You will educate patients, influence program strategy, and counsel with minimal supervision. This remote position supports occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings; 40 hours weekly, with bonus incentives

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Active pharmacist license in applicable states.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Initiative, multi-tasking, and fast-paced environment adaptability.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication therapy and comprehensive medication reviews.
• Optimize prescription drug therapy for patients on multiple meds.
• Drive health awareness with Rx Education and quarterly campaigns.
• Place outbound calls to confirm adherence and provide counseling.
• Contribute to department strategy and project components.
