Optum's Pharmacy Care Technician role in Torrance, CA, is a full-time position supporting medication adherence initiatives and coordinating with pharmacists, providers, and health plans to close care gaps. This role conducts high-volume member outreach and collaborates with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely outcomes.

Responsibilities include processing refill requests, educating patients on regimens, and utilizing EMR systems to track interventions.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active CA Pharmacy Technician license required.
• 2+ years pharmacy-related experience including prescription processing and data entry.
• 2+ years of outbound calling or high-volume outreach experience.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to members to address barriers to medication adherence.
• Perform structured outreach to members, pharmacies, and providers to resolve access and refill gaps.
• Process medication refill requests per protocol and coordinate prior authorizations.
• Provide basic medication education to reinforce adherence and proper use.
