Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee pharmacotherapy outcomes and medication distribution for patients, with focus on quality and regulatory compliance. This full-time role requires leadership of technicians and coordination with care teams.

Responsibilities include addressing MRPs, explaining care plans and medication use, and ensuring proper documentation and billing using our proprietary software. We offer comprehensive benefits and a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited program and active license.
2+ years in distribution and packaging; geriatrics/exposure to chronic care management preferred.
Experience or interest in clinical pharmacogenomics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a point of contact for patient/family, other pharmacists, clients, and/or healthcare providers to address MRPs and medication questions.
Explain care plan options and the use, side effects, and contraindications of medications dispensed, verbally or in writing.
Document care decisions and billing using proprietary software.
Ensure accurate, efficient, timely, and compliant medication distribution and fulfillment for patients.
Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for compounding, packaging, labeling medications per policy and law.
Oversee Pharmacy Technicians to ensure reconciliation, order entry, inventory, and labeling compliance.
Provide timely review and final approval for prescription orders and correct patient profiles for dispensing and billing.
Ensure compliance with state/federal laws, HIPAA, and waste/abuse regulations.
