Job summary

St. Elizabeth in Erlanger, KY is hiring a Clinical Patient Access Specialist for our Call Center. This role requires MA/LPN/RN or EMT certification and at least one year in a clinical setting. You will handle inbound calls, relay results, document in EMR, and coordinate appointments and patient communications.

Qualifications

• Active certification in LPN, CMA, RMA or EMT required.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and uphold SEP’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Schedule patients and manage release of medical information per protocols.
• Document accurately in the EMR.
• Provide instructions and results to patients under provider directions.
• Communicate with offices about patient concerns related to results.
• Schedule appointments per office preferences and decision trees.
• Maintain relationships with team, practice, and leadership.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details.
• Advise patients of outstanding balances and resolve issues.
• Distribute patient requests accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with central billing and physicians on requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
