Optain seeks a Clinical Operations Manager to oversee its nationwide provider network of optometrists and ophthalmologists. You will convert informal workflows into documented policy, implement a measurable quality program, and build capacity models to stay ahead of demand.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will coordinate with the Medical Director, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, compliant operations across systems. This is a remote US-based role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading healthcare operations and provider networks.
• Track record writing clinician-ready policies signed by medical leaders.
• Experience running clinician network quality programs and audits.
• Familiarity with credentialing, licensure, and multistate processes.
• Startup experience building processes with measurable impact.

Responsabilités

• Own grading playbook, SOPs, onboarding, and network policy library; obtain review and sign-off by Medical Director.
• Establish documentation governance to centralize knowledge.
• Design and run the grader quality program with sampling, reviews, and performance feedback.
• Prepare quality reviews for Medical Director adjudication and actions.
• Build a capacity model by state, customer, and license coverage; set recruitment triggers.
• Lead grader recruitment from sourcing to interviews; coordinate credentialing with Operations Manager.
• Manage intake, triage, and routing of complaints; escalate to Medical Director and close loop with customers.
• Set agenda for decisions; ensure Medical Director spends time on clinical judgments.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to document current-state workflows for faster feature development.
• Move manual network processes into the platform in collaboration with Product/Engineering.
