Job summary

Optain, a pioneering healthcare AI company, seeks a Clinical Operations Manager to run the provider network of optometrists and ophthalmologists across the United States. You will convert 15 years of relationships into documented policy, a measurable quality program, and a scalable capacity model under the Medical Director.

You will report to the VP of Operations and work daily with the Medical Director in a remote, US-based role designed to improve screening workflows and patient care

Responsibilities

• Own grading playbook, SOPs, onboarding materials, and the provider network policy library; manage versions and route content to the Medical Director.
• Establish documentation governance for the network -- ownership, versioning, review cadence, and sign-off -- so operating knowledge lives in documents.
• Design and run the grader quality program, including sampling, over-read and discordance review, turnaround accountability, and performance feedback.
• Prepare quality reviews and escalations for Medical Director adjudication and carry out actions, including performance conversations and offboarding.
• Build and maintain a capacity model by state, customer, and license coverage, and set recruitment triggers ahead of turnaround breaches.
• Run grader recruitment from sourcing to interviews; coordinate credentialing and onboarding with Operations.
• Own intake, triage, and routing of complaints; escalate urgent findings to the Medical Director and track outcomes.
