Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to support the medication electronic health record and serve as the interface between clinicians and informatics professionals. You will develop informatics plans, perform data analysis, and implement EHR builds to improve medication safety and patient care.

You will consult with providers and leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to data analytics for performance improvement while working remotely during standard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• PGY1 and PGY2 residencies in pharmacy informatics preferred.
• Epic Willow certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR.
• Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems to advance evidence-based practice and medication safety.
• Designs, evaluates, and implements new EHR build to support clinical practice and improve quality and safety of patient care.
• Consults with providers, leadership, physicians, and other clinicians to evaluate information systems.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Assists in creating data analytics to facilitate data review and performance improvements.
• Consults with external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
