Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a pharmacist informatics specialist to support the medication electronic health record remotely with standard first‑shift hours. Epic Willow certification is preferred, and the role leverages clinical and informatics skills to improve medication safety and workflows.

You will develop informatics plans, run data analyses, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize EHR builds and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy; EPIC certification within 6 months as required by department.
• PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency preferred or required as stated.

Responsibilities

• Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems that advance evidence-based practice and improve medication safety.
• Designs, evaluates, and implements new electronic health record builds to support clinical practice and improve quality and safety of patient care.
• Consults with providers, leadership, physicians, and clinicians to evaluate information systems and link medication workflows with technology.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements and assists in data analytics for performance review.
• Consults with external agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
