Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a pharmacist informaticist to join the Pharmacy Applications team. The role leverages clinical and informatics skills to support the medication electronic health record and to serve as a liaison between clinicians and technical experts.

Responsibilities include designing, evaluating, and implementing EHR builds, consulting with providers and leadership, and supporting data analytics for performance improvement. Remote first shift with benefits eligible applies.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required; EPIC Willow certification desired within 6 months.
• PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency in pharmacy informatics preferred.
• Must be able to interface with clinicians and IT teams; training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems to advance evidence-based practice and medication safety.
• Designs and implements EHR builds to support clinical practice and safety.
• Consults with providers and leadership to evaluate information systems and communicate complex informatics issues.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
