Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Specialist, Clinical Engagement to join our team in Illinois. The role delivers telephonic medication consultations, health education, and care coordination to improve medication adherence and patient engagement.

The Specialist will execute MTM, Stars Adherence, and ongoing clinical initiatives within program guidelines, reporting to the Supervisor, CEC Operations, and collaborating with other CEC leaders.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required. State license where applicable.
• 3 years of pharmacy support or clinical program execution experience.
• Strong pharmaceutical knowledge for safe, informed outcomes.
• Ability to communicate empathetically with diverse populations and follow workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MTM and Stars Adherence initiatives to support quality and outcomes.
• Proactive patient outreach to improve engagement and program participation.
• Coordinate patient care for timely access to medications and continuity of therapy.
• Collaborate with CEC teammates to ensure high-quality clinical services and shared accountability.
• Educate patients on program benefits and adherence, identifying risks and interventions.
• Facilitate prescription renewals and extended day supply requests with pharmacies or providers.
• Identify barriers to access and connect patients with clinical resources.
• Apply professional judgment in defined situations and escalate non-routine decisions.
• Follow protocols and regulatory requirements, escalating high-risk situations appropriately.
• Complete workflows accurately and take ownership of tasks supporting department performance.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
