Job summary

Stepful is hiring a Clinical Coordinator to build and lead the clinical instructor function for our nursing programs. You will start by teaching two days per week at clinical sites while you recruit and develop a team of clinical instructors.

As the team grows, you will lead site relationships and run the operational systems that keep student rotations on track. You will report to the Dean of Nursing and ensure all documentation is audit-ready, with travel up to 50% to Ohio, Michigan, and

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (multistate) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Master’s degree in nursing (required for accreditation).
• 2+ years teaching clinicals in a nursing education program.
• Experience training, onboarding, or mentoring clinical instructors/preceptors.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (healthcare provider).
• Ability to meet site health/immunization requirements and background checks.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinicals and model high-quality instruction across sites.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard clinical instructors for Stepful’s nursing programs.
• Own and nurture relationships with clinical site partners and staff.
• Manage scheduling and rotation planning across cohorts; ensure coverage.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance with nursing boards.
